Habitation Analysis – Namuna III

IKP – SERP has already undertaken the baseline survey of 22.1 lakh SC/ST Households of the State. Together with the survey, the Habitation Survey was also conducted. The habitation survey covers the facilities available or the distance to access the facilities in the respective habitation. This is done primarily to assess the whether

• The SC/ST Habitation is included in the main habitation.
• The SC/ST population in the habitation
• The infrastructure facilities available in the habitation
• Social Issues of concern

The information surveyed from the Namuna III is analysed for each of the infrastructure component. The concerned departments will access this data for future proposals for infrastructure development, for which the funds can be accessed from SCSP & TSP.Total of 33454 SC/ST Colonies are surveyed in 30327 Habitations of the State. The habitations having SC / ST population more than 40% is taken as SC/ ST Habitations. Total habitations as per the community are given below:
